Birkenstock–the beautifully and ugly slippers

Birkenstock – classic German shoe comfortable and timeless are this summer trend.

Birkenstock Orthopàdie GmbH&Co.Kg was manufactured and established in 1774 in Neustadt in Germany. The company produces and sells sandals, Slippers, and shoes distinguished by cork mats and rubber soles. That adjusts to the shape of the foot. This particular characteristic is also the company’s secret; Not the foot adapts to the shoes, but the boots to the feet.

Birkenstock remains a family company that supports these traditions to this day. These German slippers, called sandals, have symbolized summer for tens of years. A little ugly, but certainly comfortable and practical. Since we were little ones, we are used to seeing them worn by the German tourists, even sometimes funny combined with white terry socks.

It turned out that these are also perfect orthopedic slippers. In 1947. a book was written and published by Karl Birkenstock – the founder of the company “Orthopedic of the Foot – System.” In this book, Karl presents his idea of the “natural gait “- the so-called “Trittspursystem” healthy shoes. From that moment on, this book specializing in foot orthopedics became best-selling and used as a guide in orthopedics. Peter nominates Birkenstock as shoe brand Animal Friendly, Comfortable for a walk, Birkenstock is often perfectly combined with a dress or Bermuda shorts. The Arizona model is the classic double strap, opened up from behind (The straps are made of highly durable materials) cork mat with orthopedic shape and rubber sole.

Lately, we have seen more and more Vogue girls enjoying the comfort of Birkenstock. Vogue also dedicated an entire article on Birkenstock, “Beautiful Ugly,” in which many editors, to our surprise, confessed their love for these comfortable German slippers.

In 1990, Kate Moss was photographed for The Face with a cigarette smoking in half, a wide sweater, swimsuit, and a pair of Birkenstock on her foot.

Each pair of Birkenstock looks good on your feet when you have nice suntan-colored skin and lacquered toenails. In principle, Birkenstock looks good wearing more fashionable jewelry, considering the Grungy style; if you put a ring on the toes, Metal bracelets, and earrings, your fancy look is ready.

Birkenstock looks good combined with loose clothes. For example, a pair of jeans, a broad white T-shirt, an oversized sweater, or a summer floral dress. (For Margie  Elizabeth and Heidy) 😉
