Ingredients for about 2 liters of Bolognese sauce:
600gr. of minced meat *
*(50% beef 50% pork) or as you like
can be only beef 🥩 or only pork 🐽 )
100gr of butter
50 gr of olive oil
3 🥕 carrots
One big celery stalk
Two glasses of white wine 🍷
Two jars of tomato sauce or three cans 🥫 of peeled tomatoes
Three basil leaves
Two small spoons of sugar
Add minced meat, butter, olive oil, and cook till it becomes ready in a big pot—season to taste with salt.
Then grate the celery, the onion, and the carrots.
And add them to the minced meat.
Stir and mix well all the ingredients. Leave to cook for a while, and then add the white wine.
After a while, add the tomato sauce, basil leaves, and two small spoons of sugar.
Stir in the tomato purée or peeled tomatoes, partially cover the pan with a lid, let it simmer for about 3 hours, and occasionally stir until the oil comes up. (In case you are cooking only a liter of sauce, you need to simmer for about an hour and a half).
