Fried Zucchini Flowers Stuffed with Ricotta and Mozzarella Cheese

Ingredients for about ten pieces:

First, let’s prepare the batter:

Needed ingredients:

200 g of all-purpose flour (you can also use gluten-free flour)

10 g brewer’s yeast

salt

Beer q.b.

Directions:

  • In a bowl, put the flour, brewer’s yeast, salt, and little by little from the beer.

  • Mix well until a batter forms a thick consistency and let it stand aside.

And now the Zucchini flowers:

Ten fresh zucchini flowers from the market

150g ricotta cheese

Two tablespoons of grated Parmesan cheese

50 g mozzarella or provola

Salt at taste

Pepper

One egg yolk

Frying oil

How to prepare the filling:

  • Cut the mozzarella into small strips

  • Then add salt, pepper, and the egg yolk to the ricotta. Mix everything well.

  • Now you can start stuffing the zucchini flowers by adding a strip of mozzarella and a spoon of the ricotta filling.

  • After that, immerse the stuffed pumpkin flowers in the batter and fry them in the hot oil until they turn golden.

  • Drain them from excess oil by using kitchen paper.

  • Serve the Fried Zucchini Flowers Stuffed with Ricotta and Mozzarella cheese while still hot.
