A good tomato sauce is a base for pasta, lasagna, and other delicious Italian dishes. It is easy to prepare and delicious.
The Ingredients:
Tomato sauce (from a canning jar or whatever you can find)
4-5 tablespoon olive oil
Fresh basils leave
4-5 fresh cherry tomato
One and a half teaspoons of sugar.
Directions:

In a small pot, put some olive oil and tomato sauce.

Then put a bit of water in the can/jar to cover the bottom, and add the water to the pot.

Then add the fresh basil and the cherry tomatoes, cut in half. Add the sugar and put the pot on a slow fire for about an hour till the oil comes up.

We did not add salt, as our homemade tomato sauce was previously salted. If this is not the case, add some salt to taste.
