This delicious Gnocchi dish served with cherry tomatoes, and creamy smoked provolone cheese sauce is packed with flavor. Easy to make no meet recipe with only five main ingredients.
Ingredients for Six servings:
600 grams of Gnocchi (consider 100gr per person)
12 cherry tomatoes
Olive oil
A Clove of garlic
Fresh basil
Pinch of salt
One teaspoon sugar
5 tbsp tomato sauce (optional)
100gr. Smoked Provola cheese
100gr.of mozzarella
Directions:

In a frying pan, pour the oil, and add the garlic and the diced cherry tomatoes.

Season with salt and sugar. After a while, add the tomato sauce. Cook for 10-15 minutes. And remove it from the heat.

Cut the mozzarella, the smoked provola cheese, and basil into small cubes.

Boil the Gnocchi in salted water. The Gnocchi is ready when they all float to the water’s surface.

As soon as the Gnocchi is cooked, put the pan with the sauce back on the heat, drain the Gnocchi from their water, leaving apart a cup of their water (you will need it for the sauce), and add them to the pan. Mix all well.

After a while, add the mozzarella, the provolone, and the basil, sauté and mix well. Add the water from the boiling little by little and stir well. Add the water till you get a nice creamy sauce.
