Ingredients for two servings:
1 kg Mussels
Clean the mussels well under running water, removing the formations from the shell and cleaning the beard.
Put the mussels in a saucepan and sprinkle with black pepper. Cover with a lid.
There is no need to pour water; the mussels contain water in their shell. Also, there is no need for salt; the mussels are themselves salty from the seawater contained in their shells.
Cooking the mussels takes no more than 10 minutes. Stir frequently.
The mussels are ready when all the mussels are open.
